DM is for Dubai Municipality which is located along Creek Road in downtown Dubai. Across the road is a small park where elaborately painted life size sculptures of horses and camels, UAE's favorite mammals, are installed.Beyond the park runs the Dubai Creek where the so called water taxis ( airconditioned glass walled boats ) ply their route from Bur Dubai to Deira side and vice versa.One fine friday afternoon, we were invited to a children's party on a dhow ( wooden boat ) cruise by the creek. We came early to take photos at the park and by the water taxi station before going to the boat party.
