I have discovered this place through internet surfing. "Hidden" in San Juan, Batangas, this white sand beach is dubbed by the developers as "Batangas' best kept secret". A coastal community is being developed complete with resort hotels and other facilities like swimming pool, clubhouse, among others. I brought my family there for a look-see and a probability of acquiring a lot within the development. They definitely enjoyed the beach plus the experience of seeing rice field sceneries along the way, a far cry from the sandscape that we see here every time we go on road trips ( don't get me wrong, I also genuinely admire the unique beauty of the desert specially the sensuous dunes). Said trip to Playa Laiya gave us a glimpse of Philippine rural beauty and a refreshing break from the concrete , glass and aluminium jungles of Dubai.
