Each day, I never fail to thank God for gifting me with a beautiful and loving wife and two amazing sons. I just couldn't ask for more and could not figure out how I deserved all these wonderful blessings...

Al Mamzar Beach

One of the advantages of living in the outskirts of Dubai near the border of Sharjah is the proximity to one of Dubai's largest beaches, the Al Mamzar Beach. The beach is practically within sight of our flat building ( that is, if you would go to the roof deck) and just a few minutes drive away if you would decide to jog on the one kilometer rubber jogging lane running along the lagoon's shoreline with a view of the Sharjah located at the other side. When my Mama Clariza was here for a vacation just last month, the weather was still cold, so we just brought her to the open beach to enjoy the scenery and take some souvenir photos.

Inside the beach park, which is maintained and managed by the municipality, the facilities are overwhelming for inexpensive entrance fees. There are 5 beach sites separated by breakwaters, numerous barbecue and picnic stalls, playgrounds ( my son Derico has only been to the 2 among the i don't know how many playgrounds ), swimming pool, an amphitheatre, chalets and lots of greenery.
The photos above were taken when Diego was about 4 months old early last year and the photos below were taken during our first year and Diego was still a 4 month old fetus.
